PERSONAL:

 

Born in Cleveland, Ohio on Nov. 2, 1932.  Married to Shirley A. Berna of Parma, Ohio since 1954.  Currently living in Medina, Ohio with Shirley, six cats and a dog..  Of their four children, three sons are lawyers, two practicing in Medina, Ohio and the third in the New Mexico State Public Defenders’ Office.  A daughter holds an administrative position with an insurance company.   There are thirteen living grandchildren.

Attended Cleveland Public School & graduated from John Marshall High in 1950.

Baldwin-Wallace College, Berea, Ohio (1950-53).

Cleveland-Marshall Law School (1953-57)  LL.B. Degree superceded by J.D. (1968).

Cleveland-Marshall Law School & Cleveland Clinic Foundation - Legal Medicine - 1955-58

Current in C.L.E. requirements with extra training required for Death Penalty Certification as  lead and appellate counsel, Federal Criminal Justice Act (C.J.A.) Certification and Acting Judges Certification.

Founder & Senior Partner in the firm of MARCO, MARCO & BAILEY, Medina, Ohio (1983  - 2001).  The firm is engaged in all area of the general practice; however, during the past several years before retirement, Mr. Marco limited his case load to litigation of criminal and civil matters.

 

Mr. Marco is still employed part-time as Acting Judge for Medina Municipal court.
